2. Data we collect

We process only data you provide or data necessary for the secure operation of the website.

  • Contact form: topic, full name, email, optional phone number and message;
  • Paper collection form: applicant type, company name and identification number (for legal entities), contact person, phone, optional email, address, material type, estimated quantity, comments and uploaded photos;
  • Technical data: for security and reliable operation, the server may temporarily record IP address, request time and technical logs.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use data to receive and respond to requests, agree on collection or drop-off terms, organise services, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. Processing is based on your consent, steps requested before providing a service, our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and, where applicable, a legal obligation.

4. Data recipients

The website is hosted by ProService. The provider may access technical data only to the extent necessary for hosting, security and technical support.

We do not sell personal data or disclose it for advertising. Data may be shared only with authorised staff, parties necessary to provide the requested service, or legally authorised public bodies when required by law.

5. Retention

Data received through forms, email and attached photos is kept for no longer than 12 months. It is then deleted or anonymised unless longer retention is required by law, needed to perform an agreement or necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Modern Waste website uses only essential technical cookies and session mechanisms needed for secure navigation, form protection and website functionality. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, advertising cookies or behavioural profiling cookies.

Embedded Google Maps on the collection points page may receive technical data and use its own cookies under Google’s policies. When you follow a WhatsApp link, you leave our website and subsequent processing is governed by WhatsApp/Meta’s policies.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure; if an incident occurs, we will act in accordance with Georgian law.

8. Your rights

Within the scope of Georgian law, you may request information about processing, access and a copy of your data, correction or updating, cessation of processing, deletion or destruction, blocking, portability where applicable, withdrawal of consent and review of the processing. Email requests to info@modern-waste.ge. You may also apply to the State Audit Office of Georgia or a court.

If our processing practices or legal requirements change, we will update this page and show the revised date.
